Pre-load Dragon Age: Inquisition Today

The people of Thedas need your help, Inquisitor.

Starting today, those who have pre-ordered Dragon Age: Inquisition can download and install the game early, making it available for play the second it’s available on November 18. With the world on the brink of collapse, there’s no time to waste.

Just launch Origin, click on the My Games tab, then click on the Dragon Age: Inquisition tile in your Origin Games Library. After the game finishes downloading, it will be installed automatically. That's easier than convincing a templar that not all mages are obsessed with blood magic!

Now is the perfect opportunity to make sure you’re prepared for launch. Here are the minimum and recommended system requirements for the game:

Minimum:
OS: Windows 7 or 8.1 64-bit
CPU: AMD quad core CPU @ 2.5 GHz, Intel quad core CPU @ 2.0 GHz
System RAM: 4 GB
Graphics CARD: AMD Radeon HD 4870, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT
Graphics Memory: 512 MB
Hard Drive: 26 GB
DirectX 10

Recommended:

OS: Windows 7 or 8.1 64-bit
CPU: AMD six core CPU @ 3.2 GHz, Intel quad core CPU @ 3.0 GHz
System RAM: 8 GB
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7870 or R9 270, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
Graphics Memory: 2 GB
Hard Drive: 26 GB
DirectX 11

Still on the fence? Check out Origin’s extended hands-on sessions with the game.

If you haven’t yet pre-ordered, it’s not too late! The Dragon Age: InquisitionDigital Deluxe Edition is the best way to play. Grab your copy now so you can pre-load ahead of launch, and remember: all Dragon Age: Inquisition pre-orders come with a $10 coupon you can use on a future Origin purchase of $30 or more.

Be prepared, Inquisitor. Thedas needs you.

Preload Dragon Age: Inquisition today and prepare for November 18.

I bought this, there is no preload/download button and the one that is next to the release time counter is only a link to buy the game, tried everything several times, I guess I have to wait more than other people in other countries. I would love to know how much though (its better than waiting without knowing if you will be able to do it). I hope I can at least start downloading it by the time it is released...

I agree witth shatteredcalo. I pre-ordered my Dragon Age Inquisition last March and it's already over 30 minutes past 1 AM PST 15th of November and there is still no download options on my Dragon Age Inquisition. I don't have an amazing internet connection. I cannot download the game within an hour. That's why I pre-order. So I can download the game days before the launch. What's the point of pre-ordering if I can't even do that? :(

If you preordered through Amazon, they give the wrong activation code. I had to call them and complain to get them to give me the correct code. The first code they gave me was only for the pre-order bonus content, not the game itself. Everyone should be able to see and preload the game by now. If you still can't see it, call the company you ordered it from.

Ugh, I got all excited and bought the game because of this. But it's a lie, only the USA can preload on the 14th. The rest of the world has to wait another week because nonsense. Check your region's date on the release schedule here (which they really should have linked in this article): http://help.ea.com/en/article/dragon-age-inquisition-release-schedule/

If you haven't tried already, exit and reload origin (right click in taskbar and exit, not just minimize). After reloading Origin, There was a pre-load button as described in the main post. Gads, Origin is just terribad.

"Preload: November 17th, 2014 17:00" It's 14:00 where I am now, Timezone: GMT+0. I'm hoping that the 17:00 is calculated regional and that it's not 17:00 on the 17th in Canada or USA. If it is, it would mean I have to wait another 6+ hours. This is Origin though, So I'm probably going to have to wait for the 18th in the morning. Can't wait either way, Brought the dang thing months ago.

I purchased my copy a month or so ago and it is in my library so i suppose its already been downloaded but can't be sure since it doesn't tell me that. Very excited to play the game though. Seriously hoping its everything you've made it out to be.
