Denied several scoring opportunities and kept a clean sheet in Oman's shocking 1-0 win vs. Australia.
RB: Vedran Ćorluka, Croatia, Tottenham Hotspur - 76>80
Got through his match with determination and concentration. Did not allow Arda any time on the ball whenever he ventured out to the left wing. Took his header emphatically in the 2nd half and gave his side a very comfortable lead.
CB: Pepe, Portugal, Real Madrid - 85>86
Man of the match for many websites, member of TOTW on goal.com, his coach (Paulo Bento) said his defender played amazingly, also rated 9 out of 10 on portugoal.net
CB: Leon Cort, Guyana, Charlton Athletic - 66>72
The central defender featured alongside brother Carl in Guyana's historic 2-1 win against Trinidad and Tobago, which saw them reach the final stage of CONCACAF World Cup qualifying for the first time.
LB: Clemente Rodriguez, Argentina, Boca Juniors - 74>74
Rodriguez was the best Argentinean on pitch against Bolivia, very interesting offensively and defensively, he was one of the only satisfaction of the game on the Argentinean side.
CM: Keith Andrews, Ireland, Ipswich Town - 72>74
The Irish midfielder was "outstanding" (Guardian) in his country's comprehensive 4-0 EURO playoff first leg win in Tallinn, opening the scoring and assisting another for Robbie Keane.
CM: Freddy Guarin, Columbia, FC Porto - 80>82
One of the best player against Venezuela, Guarin opened the scoring for Colombia with a very powerful shot. Goal.com TOTW.
LW: Timur Kapadze, Uzbekistan, Incheon United - 68>73
Scored the winner in the 1-0 vs. Korea DPR, which made Uzbekistan survive the "death group" and qualify for the next round.
ST: Ivica Olić, Croatia, Bayern Munchen - 80>82
A vintage Ivica Olic performance. Showed incredible desire throughout the match and was very strong when holding up the ball in attack. Positioning was spot on for his scrappy goal and stretched the Turkey defence with his runs.
ST: Luis Suárez, Uruguay, Liverpool - 85>87
Man of the week on Goal.com, Suárez was unstoppable against Chili, scoring four goals in a performance that many Uruguayans will not forget any time soon.
ST: Shinji Okazaki, Japan, VfB Stuttgart - 74>74
Through his second consecutive brace in the national team, he led Japan to a 4-0 in Tajikistana and in the final round of the WC qualifying.
GK: David Ospina, Columbia, OGC Nice - 77>80
Made nine saves as he helped Colombia to secure a 1-1 against an on-top Venezuela.
RB: Martin Càceres, Uruguay, Sevilla FC - 78>80
Goal.com TOTW, the defender worked his socks off in a typically energetic performance on the right side of Uruguay defence. He gave an assist to Suárez.
CB: Bruno Alves, Portugal, Zenit St. Petersburg - 81>82
He played his best game with Portugal NT since Bento is the coach, rated 8/10 on portugoal.net
CM: Juvenal, Guinea, Sabadell - 60>64
Scored the two goals of his team vs. Madagascar - he was the only player to score a brace this weekend in the CAF qualifying competition for the 2014 FIFA WC.
ST: Robbie Keane, Republic of Ireland, LA Galaxy - 77>80
The Irish captain scored his 52nd and 53rd international goals in Ireland's 4-0 EURO playoff first leg win in Tallinn as well as being brought down for Stepanov's first half dismissal.
ST: Mario Mandžukić, Croatia, VfL Wolfsburg - 78>80
Made very intelligent runs into the box throughout the match and linked up effectively with Olic in attack. Showed great desire to out-jump Gokhan Gonul at the back post to grab his well deserved goal.
CF: Ladislas Douniama, Congo, Guingamp - 60>64
Scored one of the five goals for Congo against Sao Tome and Principe.
