Madden NFL 13 Preview of the Week

Hey NFL Fans, Kev5890 here welcoming you to the Madden NFL 13 Preview of Week. I have highlighted some of next week’s match-ups with media and predictions. Make sure you comment and let me know who you think will win these games and what games I should preview for week 3 of the NFL season.

Chicago Bears vs. Green Bay Packers

The rivalry between the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers returns this Thursday night. The Bears finally have an offense that can be deemed “explosive” and the Packers are coming off of a disappointing loss in week one. I think the Packers rebound at home and take the Bears in a close game. I have a hard time believing a team led by Aaron Rodgers will start the season off 0-2.

Detroit Lions vs. San Francisco 49ers

Both teams are coming off week one wins, but the 49ers win was much more impressive. The team traveled into Green Bay and showed the Packers they are the team to beat in the NFC. While the Lions barely escaped a win against the St. Louis Rams. I am picking the San Francisco 49ers to win this one under the lights on Saturday Night.

Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints

Both teams are coming off surprising losses in week one. Cam Newton and Drew Brees are looking to rebound after disappointing performances last week. I am going to go with the veteran over the rookie here and select the New Orleans Saints. Who Dat Nation can’t start off 0-2, right?

Baltimore Ravens vs. Philadelphia Eagles

This game is going to be a battle of great defense and a potentially high flying offense. While the Eagles looked lackluster against the Browns last week, I think they will regroup and win this match-up because LeSean McCoy will get more carries and Vick is going to eliminate his mistakes.

New York Jets vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

This match-up is going to be exciting to watch. The Jets great secondary is going to be going against one of the best receiving corps in the NFL. I don’t believe the Jets offense can produce like they did last week against the Bills and I think the Steelers offense is going to get the best out of the Jets defense. The Steelers take this one and both teams will be 1-1 after the first two weeks of the season.
